Welding plays a vital part in modern engineering, joining metals in factories, fabrication workshop and in a wide varieties of work on site for both shipyard and construction industries. Equip your staff with appropriate levels of competency and skills in welding operations to meet today’s job market and the challenges of tomorrow. Successful completion of this course (3G) will enable the workers in the marine industry to be eligible for the low levy scheme.

For Whom
Workmen who require to acquire 3G skill level and work in Marine industry
Eligible for Low Levy upon successfully completed the course and pass the required test conducted by external accredited tester

Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, participants would be competently trained with a solid foundation in the basics of various welding processes and to prepare them for further trends so that they can readily transfer their skills to the shop floor.

Course Assessment
All participants are required to go through a skill test conducted by the external accredited tester and product radiographic inspection.

3G Welding Certificate will be issued to the participants who have shown competent in welding assessment as an endorsement of their skills.

Entry Requirements
At least 18 years of age
Singaporeans, Permanent Residents or Holders of valid employment pass / work permit
Able to read and understand simple English
Must be physically and mentally fit for the training with no handicap
No problem with eyesight
All applicants should have some operating experiences

Note :
Those 60 years and above must produce a medical certificate of physical fitness
