As communication expectations rise across industries, the ability to present ideas clearly and confidently has become a fundamental career skill—especially for those involved in sales, business development, client engagement, product solutioning, and stakeholder communications.
Designed for intermediate-level learners, this course provides a structured step-by-step framework that can be applied across industries such as Built, finance, healthcare, information and communications technology (ICT), manufacturing, wholesale trade, and the public sector. Through this skills-based course, learners will strengthen their ability to present data, proposals, and ideas persuasively to clients, teams, and senior decision-makers, both locally and in cross-border settings.
The course also supports continuous improvement through feedback, reflection, and performance review techniques—vital competencies in today’s fast-paced and collaborative work environment.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS (ASSUMED / PREFERENCE)
- Able to read, write, and communicate in English at a workplace level (recommended WPLN Level 4 or equivalent)
- Has a basic education background (e.g. GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent)
- Has experience working in roles that involve customer interaction, stakeholder engagement, marketing, or team communication
- Comfortable using simple digital tools to create or edit presentations (e.g. PowerPoint, Canva, Google Slides)
- Open to learners who want to build confidence and impact in presenting ideas clearly and persuasively
